244 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children if, following his meeting with the National Federation of Voluntary Bodies on 14 May 2003, he will provide additional funding for the provision of emergency and respite services for people with an intellectual disability; and if he will make a statement on the matter. With reference to services for people with intellectual disability or autism, discussions are taking place with the service providers on a number of areas of particular concern in 2003, including emergency placements.
