298 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of second level schools which offer a transition year option to their students as a percentage of all second level schools; the number of students who availed of transition year in 2002 or in the most recent year for which figures are available as a percentage of the annual cohort of students taking the leaving certificate.
