303 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education and Science the way in which Members of Dáil Éireann can get information regarding the decisions of the mainstream staffing appeals board at primary level; when the next round of decisions will be available; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Education and Science (Mr. N. Dempsey):

If the Deputy wishes to receive the decision of the appeals board in relation to a specific school, I can arrange for an official from my Department to forward the decision directly to him. The appeals board is scheduled to meet this week and the schools concerned will be notified of the decision of the board as soon as possible thereafter.
