336 Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources when an application by a person (details supplied) in County Kerry under the native woodland scheme will be expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18443/03]
An application for grant aid under my Department's native woodland scheme has been received from the person in question. Due to the limited funding available this year it has not been possible to approve the application to date. The application will be looked at again later this year when the situation with regard to funding for next year is clear.
