Vol. 570 No. 2

Written Answers. - Home Help Services.

Michael Ring

Question:

385 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the organisation which is dealing with home help appeals in County Mayo; and the persons who are on the committee and who make the decision, on the appeals committee, for the provision of home help in County Mayo. [18374/03]

As the Deputy will be aware, the responsibility for the provision of the home help service in the Mayo area rests with the Western Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him, as a matter of urgency.
