Vol. 570 No. 3

Written Answers. - Special Educational Needs.

Billy Timmins

Question:

182 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Education and Science the position on the appointment of a learning support, remedial teacher for a school (details supplied) in County Wicklow given that this is a vital service for this school and the appointment should be made as a matter of urgency; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19074/03]

The school in question currently has the services of a shared learning support teacher. The needs of the school will be taken fully into account in the event of additional learning support teacher posts becoming available for distribution.
