348 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government the amount sought by each of the 15 local authorities in respect of non-national road grants to facilitate housing and other related developments in 2001, 2002 and 2003. [19294/03]
I refer to the reply to Question No. 195 of 22 May 2003.
In December 2000, local authorities were notified of the maximum Exchequer grant allocation in respect of each of the 48 projects approved under the non-national roads to support housing and other development programme. Accordingly, local authorities draw down approved grants under the programme on the basis of progress on each scheme rather than annual allocations or demands.
