Vol. 570 No. 4

Written Answers. - Bovine Diseases.

Paul Nicholas Gogarty

Question:

49 Mr. Gogarty asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the location of the 20% of the country which yields some 50% of current tuberculosis reactors according to the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19160/03]

The location of the 20% of the country which yields some 50% of current tuberculosis reactors are present in virtually every county in Ireland with the highest concentration occurring in the Border counties, Cavan, Monaghan and Louth. I am arranging for a map indicating the high risk areas to be forwarded to the Deputy.
