323 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the payments issued to a person (details supplied) in 2002 and 2003; if there are payments outstanding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20695/03]

The area aid applications for 2002 and 2003 of the person named were fully processed with an area determined for payment purposes of 14.39 hectares in each year.

The person named received his full entitlement of €392 under the 2002 ewe-supplementary premium and €17.64 under the ewe premium national envelope on the 16 October 2002 and 3 March 2003, respectively. Under the 2003 ewe premium the person named is not due any premium as he did not lodge an application under the scheme.

He received his full entitlement of €1,278.98 under the 2002 area-based compensatory allowance scheme on 23 September 2002. A payable order for €1,278.98 issued to him on 23 September 2003 being his full entitlement under the 2003 area-based compensatory allowance scheme.

The person named lodged two applications under 2002 special beef premium scheme and has been paid in full in respect of a total of 14 animals.

The person named has to date submitted two applications (in May and August) in respect of 12 animals under the 2003 special beef premium scheme. Advance payments at the rate of 80% of premium under the 2003 scheme are scheduled to commence from 16 October on January to June applications subject to satisfactory completion of all checks. Advance payment in respect of the August application will issue in November subject to compliance with the two month retention period and completion of checks.

The person named has been paid in full in respect of six animals which qualified for slaughter premium in 2002.

On 6 June 2003, a payable order for €1,120.00 issued to the person named being his full entitlement to 2002 extensification premium. Payment of 2003 extensification premium is not scheduled to commence until June 2004.
