Vol. 571 No. 1

Written Answers. - Departmental Offices.

Seán Crowe

Question:

367 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Finance if all Government buildings (details supplied) are disabled accessible; if a survey is or has been carried out to establish this, the status of any ongoing survey; and the predicted length of time for its completion. [20333/03]

A preliminary survey of all Govern ment buildings has established that many are not currently accessible to people with disabilities. However, there is an ongoing programme of improving access to all Government buildings. Because of the widespread and diverse nature of the Government portfolio it is not possible to predict the length of time for its completion.
