Question:162 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Finance the position regarding the flooding relief project in the Feale-Cashen Estuary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20392/03]
Written Answers. - Flood Relief.
As the Deputy is aware a trial has been ongoing since last year to establish the effectiveness of the pumping solution recommended in the report on the flooding problem. Because there has not been a significant flood event in the area during this period it will be necessary to extend the period of the trial. It is now expected that the report of the trial results will be available in May 2004.
