Vol. 571 No. 1

Written Answers. - Services for People with Disabilities.

Finian McGrath

Question:

831 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children the official bed complement and present occupancy of each hospital, home and institution in respect of each health board area catering for children and adults who have psychiatric illness, intellectual disability and physical disability; the name and location of each building; the body by which they are administered; the manner in which public moneys are made available in respect of each non-health board institution; and the amount involved in 2003. [19911/03]

The detailed information requested by the Deputy is not readily available in my Department. My Department has, therefore, written to the chief executive of the authority and the chief executive officers of the health boards to ask them to investigate the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
