844 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health and Children when he will publish the report of the Inspector of Mental Hospitals for the year ending 31 December 2002 which was promised for July or August 2003; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19940/03]
In accordance with the provisions of section 247 and section 248 of the Mental Treatment Act 1945, the 2002 report of the Inspector of Mental Hospitals was laid before each House of the Oireachtas on 9 September 2003. Copies of the report may be purchased from the Government Publications Sales Office or alternatively the report can be freely accessed on the website of the Department of Health and Children at www.doh.ie.
