1086 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Transport if grant assistance is available from his Department towards the cost of obtaining a private pilots licence for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21303/03]

Neither my Department nor any of the agencies under its aegis has funds at its disposal to provide grant assistance for individuals who wish to obtain private pilots licences.
