Written Answers. - Air Services.

Dan Boyle

Question:

1089 Mr. Boyle asked the Minister for Transport the correspondence or communications that have issued from his office over the decision of the State airline, Aer Lingus, to withdraw services on the Cork-Dublin route. [21339/03]

No correspondence or communications issued from my office in relation to this matter. My officials informed me of Aer Lingus' decision following notification by the company.

The Cork-Dublin route is currently serviced by Aer Arann operating seven daily services while Air Wales operate services twice daily.
