Vol. 571 No. 4

Written Answers. - Animal Diseases.

Paul Connaughton

Question:

213 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the disease status of a herd of cattle at a location (details supplied) in County Galway that were out of control up to recently; the avenues which are open to several neighbours, including a person (details supplied), to claim compensation for excessive trespass damage caused by the marauding before they were housed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22213/03]

The results of the second test on the herd referred to are expected this week. The question of compensation for any alleged trespass damage caused by the herd of cattle referred to, prior to them being housed, is a civil matter.
