Vol. 571 No. 4

Written Answers. - Cork School of Music.

David Stanton

Question:

261 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Education and Science the further development he plans to enable the construction of a new school of music building in Cork to go ahead; the plans he has to make a decision regarding the future of the School of Music in Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21857/03]

As the Deputy will be aware from my answer to Parliamentary Question No. 197 on 2 October, issues regarding the effect of the Cork School of Music PPP project on the general Government balance and its affordability in the context of current economic climate are currently being examined and a decision regarding the project is imminent.
