Vol. 571 No. 4

Written Answers. - Mental Health Services.

Mary Upton

Question:

396 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if the only remaining asset of the St. Loman's mental health service is the former hospital site which was originally 66 acres and already has had 35 acres disposed of without any benefit to the service; and the proposals there are to dispose of most of the remainder with only a minimal benefit to the service. Responsibility for the issues raised by the Deputy rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to her directly.
