410 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be called for an MRI scan in Galway. [21967/03]

The provision of hospital services for persons resident in County Mayo is a matter for the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position and to reply directly to the Deputy.

411 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Sligo can be called for a knee operation in Sligo General Hospital, and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21982/03]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons living in County Sligo rests with the North-Western Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
