477 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the lands transferred from the Land Commission have been registered in the name of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21980/03]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application for a Land Commission schedule which was lodged on 1 October 1986. Schedule Number V000SM088895V refers.
Land Commission schedule applications are deemed to be registered as of the date of vesting which is prior to the date of lodgement of the documents in the Land Registry. Accordingly, registration in the Land Registry of Land Commission cases is afforded a lower priority than the registration of other dealings.
I can assure the Deputy that the application is receiving attention in the Land Registry and will be completed as soon as possible.
