206 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a tuberculosis clearance test will be immediately carried out on the herd of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21976/03]
The herd of the person referred to by the Deputy was restricted on 13 August 2003 following the disclosure of four TB reactors. The first reactor retest on the herd is due on 5 November 2003 and a further retest will be required 60 days after that. The herd must remain restricted until it has had two clear reactor retests.
