77 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Health and Children the recruitment output of each human resources unit in the three Eastern Regional Health Boards for each of the past three years; the total recruitment output in the eastern region as a whole over these years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the recruitment of staff rests in this instance with the Eastern Regional Health Authority.

My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to her directly.
