Written Answers. - Job Losses.
FÁS is working closely with Enterprise Ireland and other bodies in order to alleviate the impact of job losses arising from the recent fire at the Sunbeam Industrial Estate. Both agencies have already met company representatives and outlined the services available.
FÁS is also contacting the workers affected in regard to the provision of career guidance, training and job placement opportunities, and meetings for this purpose have been arranged by FÁS with the workers for 15 and 16 October 2003.
