237 Mr. O'Connor asked the Minister for Finance if his attention has been drawn to the fact that it is the policy of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors to support and encourage a public-private partnership approach to the building of a new Garda station for Tallaght in Dublin 24; his views on the action which is now required on this issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I note it is the policy of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors to support a public-private partnership approach to the building of a new Garda station for Tallaght. The current position regarding the provision of a new station at Tallaght is as stated in the second paragraph of a reply to the Deputy's Question No. 240 of 7 October 2003.
