145 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Education and Science if extra hours will be sanctioned for a resource teacher for a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23497/03]
I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has sanctioned 2.5 hours resource teaching support for the pupil in question. This is the maximum resource teaching support permitted under Department circular 08/02 for the disability concerned. The decision has been conveyed to the school management.
