151 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children when it is expected remedial works to the home of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24750/03]
As the Deputy will be aware, the special housing aid for the elderly scheme is operated by the health boards and the Eastern Regional Health Authority on behalf of the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government. Accordingly, my Department has referred this inquiry to the chief executive officer of the authority and has requested that an update on the situation be forwarded to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
