Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Costello – the need to make an order under sections 4(1) and 4(2) of the Residential Institutions Redress Act 2002 to extend the remit of the Act and the Residential Institutions Redress Board to Protestant residential institutions and other institutions omitted in the original schedule of institutions; (2) Deputy Healy – the urgent need to approve a staffing allocation of €3.2 million for the South-Eastern Health Board to allow the opening of the new surgical unit at St. Joseph's Hospital, Clonmel; (3) Deputy Finian McGrath – the reported damage to 80 properties over the route of the Dublin Port tunnel; (4) Deputy Burton – the reports at the weekend of up to €4 billion which is held in offshore accounts in the Isle of Man and the implications of this matter; (5) Deputy McGinley – the serious deterioration in the standard of search and rescue services in the north-west and the implications for fishermen and mariners in that area.

The matters selected by Deputies Burton, Costello, McGinley and Healy have been selected for discussion.
