I am informed by IDA Ireland that the Elan facility, formerly GSI, in Macroom has been on the market with Lisney estate agents over the last number of months and that it has also been extensively marketed by IDA Ireland through its overseas office network and sectoral divisions. A potential buyer, engaged in manufacturing, is in negotiation with the estate agents for the purchase of the facility.
