Question:184 Mr. O'Dowd asked the Minister for Health and Children the budgets that have been allocated to the rehabilitation and integration workers in the three ERHA health boards to enable them to deliver on this action. [24146/03]

The provision of drug treatment services in the three ERHA area health boards, including funding, is the statutory responsibility of the authority. Its chief executive officer has advised me that the health boards have a combined 2003 budget of €15.6 million for rehabilitation and vocational training.
