Question:

149 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will direct the South-Western Area Health Board to assist a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 to have orthodontic treatment; and if he will request the health board to make a financial contribution towards the cost of ?300. [27864/03]

Responsibility for the provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in Dublin 12 rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has asked the regional chief executive to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.

Billy Timmins

Question:

150 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Health and Children about a person (details supplied) in County Wicklow who has been informed that they need tracking but are not a priority for the work to be carried out; if this decision can be re-examined and the necessary work carried out as a matter of urgency; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
