Vol. 575 No. 1

Written Answers. - Wildlife Rangers.

Tony Gregory

Question:

215 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government if copies of the monitoring reports by conservation rangers at coursing fixtures will be lodged in the Library as soon as they become available to his Department. [27883/03]

My Department will arrange, subject to any sub judice or other legal considerations on individual reports, to place the documents referred to in the question in the Library at the end of each coursing season. This approach already applies to the release of these reports in response to requests under the Freedom of Information Acts, and is adopted because the reports are prepared in the context of law enforcement.
