My Department considered an application for special educational needs, SEN, support for the pupil in question. However, based on the supporting documentation provided, this pupil does not meet my Department's criteria for SEN support. The school was advised of the position in July 2003. Arrangements may be made to re-examine the matter further should additional information become available in support of this case.
