208 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science if funding will be provided in the 2004 capital budget to allow the immediate reconstruction of the Ballinteer community school as promised by him in 1998. [28371/03]
A large-scale building project for Ballinteer community school is listed in section 6 of the 2003 school building programme, which is published on my Department's website at www.education.ie This project is at stage 4-5, pre-tender documents, of architectural planning. It has been assigned a band two rating by my Department in accordance with the published criteria for prioritising large-scale projects. I intend to publish details of the 2004 school building programme by early January at the latest. The programme will clarify what progress is planned for projects such as Ballinteer community school during 2004.

210 Mr. J. Breen asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will meet a deputation from the INTO to discuss the building and refurbishment of schools in County Clare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28374/03]
I will meet INTO representatives shortly to discuss a range of issues, including school accommodation needs.
