I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Gogarty – the need to tighten planning legislation so that repeat offenders who consistently breach planning laws cannot receive planning permission for new developments; (2) Deputy Michael Moynihan – the progress of Aghinagh national school, County Cork; (3) Deputy Ring – to ask the Minister for Finance and the Office of Public Works when the people affected by the recent landslides in north Mayo will receive financial assistance, considering that the landslide occurred on 20 September last, yet to date not one cent has been paid to the people affected by this crisis; (4) Deputy O'Dowd – the need for the Minister for Health to institute an immediate public sworn inquiry into all aspects of the Dr. Neary affair; (5) Deputy Durkan – the ongoing issue of the disablement payment in the case of a person, details supplied, who continues to suffer arising from an occupational accident; (6) Deputy Michael D. Higgins – the need to include Scoil Náisiúnta Tuairíní, Moycullen, County Galway, details supplied, on the list for development in 2003; (7) Deputy Deenihan – the urgent need to acquire a site to provide a new Garda station at Castle Island, County Kerry; (8) Deputy Pat Breen – that the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government should provide adequate specific funding, other than EU co-finance grants, for the Ennis inner relief road project, which cost €3 million, to ease the congestion in the centre of Ennis; (9) Deputy McGuinness – the urgent need to establish a trained unit and introduce legislation and protocol in line with best practice internationally to deal with the issue of missing people; (10) Deputy Costello – the need for the Minister for Education and Science to build a new school to replace St. Peter's national school, Phibsboro, Dublin 7; and (11) Deputy Healy – the need for the Minister for Finance to announce the long awaited decentralisation of Government departments.
