Vol. 575 No. 4

Written Answers. - Nursing Home Subventions.

John McGuinness

Question:

122 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children, further to Parliamentary Question No. 93 of 26 June 2003, when the South Eastern Health Board will finalise the matter and issue payment; if all of the paper work has not been submitted by the family's solicitor; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28512/03]

As the Deputy will be aware, responsibility for the administration of the nursing home subvention scheme in the Kilkenny area, and the processing of the relevant documentation, rests with the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has been informed by the board that the necessary documentation was received by the board from the family's solicitor on 20 November 2003.
