21 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the reason for the delay in the publication of the promised consultation paper on proposed changes in the charities legislation which he told Dáil Éireann on 25 June 2003 he expected would be published during the summer; if he has brought proposals to Government on this issue; when the report will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I reiterate the assurance, which I gave the House on 21 October 2003, that the draft consultation paper would be submitted to Government shortly.
