The person in question submitted an application for payment under the installation aid scheme on 17 September 2003. The eligibility of the application, particularly in respect of the educational and training requirements, is being examined by my Department's inspectorate. The outcome will be notified in due course to the person concerned.

A payment of €16,594 issued to the person in question on 7 November 2003 in respect of his application under the scheme of investment aid for the improvement of dairy hygiene standards.

Question:93 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if installation aid will be awarded to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim; and the reason for the delay. [28721/03]
The person in question submitted an incomplete application for aid under the national scheme of installation aid on 2 February 2001. A revised application based on lands transferred to the applicant by a deed of transfer dated 30 January 2003 was subsequently submitted to my Department. This application was also incomplete and further details were requested from the applicant. The application will be examined by my Department's inspectorate when the outstanding documentation has been received. The person concerned will be notified of the outcome in due course.
