223 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health and Children the total number of people in health board-run nursing homes; and the total number subvented by health boards in private nursing homes in each of the years 1998-2003. [28837/03]
As the information sought by the Deputy is not normally collated in the Department, departmental officials have written to the chief executive officers of the various health boards-authority and asked them to supply the information required by the Deputy to the Department.
This information will then be forwarded to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
