Vol. 576 No. 1

Written Answers. - Services for People with Disabilities.

Jim O'Keeffe

Question:

228 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health and Children the position in elation to the appointment of additional speech therapists at the Brothers of Charity special needs school in Ballincollig, County Cork. [28894/03]

Responsibility for the provision of services to persons with intellectual disability and those with autism in the Cork area lies, in the first instance with the Southern Health Board. The Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the Southern Health board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
