Jim O'Keeffe

Question:

117 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of applications for compensation under the Garda Síochána (Compensation) Acts 1941 and 1945 which have been rejected since 1997; if he will provide this information in tabular form on a year-by-year basis; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29536/03]

The information requested by the Deputy is not readily available and could be obtained only by the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of staff time and resources.

Question No. 118 answered with Question No. 116.
