Vol. 576 No. 3

Written Answers. - National Spatial Strategy.

Fergus O'Dowd

Question:

129 Mr. O'Dowd asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government the progress to date on the proposed study of Drogheda town and the surrounding areas as proposed in the national spatial strategy. [29588/03]

The national spatial strategy did not specifically propose a study of Drogheda town and its surrounding areas. However, I understand that Drogheda Borough Council, in association with Louth County Council and Meath County Council, is in the process of commissioning a planning strategy for Drogheda, east Meath and south Louth. Further details may be obtained from the borough council.
