73 Mr. McHugh asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if County Galway has been considered for venues for meetings during the Irish Presidency of the EU from January to June 2004; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29629/03]

Details of the meetings currently scheduled to take place in County Galway are set out as follows.

Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources

EurOCEAN – official level – 10-14 May – Galway city.

Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs

Islands Conference – official level – 19-21 May – Connemara, County Galway.

Department of Foreign Affairs
