Vol. 576 No. 3

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Billy Timmins

Question:

107 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Health and Children the position on a person (details supplied) in County Wicklow who is waiting to have a hip replaced under a person (details supplied) at Tallaght Hospital; if the person can be seen as a matter of urgency; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29601/03]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons residing in County Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
