Some 32 of the 67 MIAB recommendations have been implemented, three have been partially implemented and 21 are being actively progressed.
Significant progress has been made in key areas such as the establishment of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board on a statutory basis, the implementation of the road safety strategy, and the streamlining of the law on personal injury claims including measures to deal with fraudulent and exaggerated claims.
