175 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children his proposals for the retention of the tuberculosis and respiratory facilities at Peamount Hospital on a permanent basis; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30578/03]
The issue referred to by the Deputy is a matter for Peamount Hospital, in consultation with the Eastern Regional Health Authority, in the first instance. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him, as a matter of urgency.
