Vol. 577 No. 3

Written Answers. - Redundancy Payments.

Denis Naughten

Question:

163 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the redundancy and redeployment package being discussed with his Department's inspectorate and clerical officers following the implementation of decoupling; the number of staff which his Department intends to redeploy to other Departments or shed during this process; the number of staff that will be transferred from district livestock offices; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30765/03]

There is no redundancy and redeployment package being discussed in my Department as a result of the implementation of decoupling. At this stage it is too early to assess the final impact of the changes on the operations of my Department as the detailed implementation rules and regulations have yet to be finalised.
