302 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding an application for a higher education grant by a person (details supplied) in County Cork which was referred to his Department by Cork County Council for consideration. [31167/03]
Officials at Cork County Council sought advice from my Department on the assessment of one aspect of reckonable income in the case referred to by the Deputy. My Department has recently responded to Cork County Council in the matter and understands that the student in question will be notified of the outcome of her grant application by the council.
