445 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Health and Children if there is a response from the chief executive officers from each health board or authority (details supplied) in relation to the charge by chiropodists to medical card holders; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30895/03]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

There has been no response, as yet, to the letter of 4th November 2003 from my Department to the chairman of the chief executive officer's group. However, a reminder has been sent and a reply will issue to the Deputy as soon as the information is received.
