499 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Transport the numbers employed by category and grade in his Department in which decentralisation is involved; the current numbers by grade in each office decentralised to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30817/03]
The authorised staffing complement of my Department is 546.5 posts – table 1 below refers. Of these, 57 administrative posts are based in our decentralised office in Ballina, County Mayo – table 2 below refers. A further 130 driver tester posts are dispersed widely throughout the country at the various test centres.
