Vol. 577 No. 5

Written Answers. - Local Government Elections.

Paul McGrath

Question:

187 Mr. P. McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government the details of the boundaries for election to Mullingar Town Council for the June 2004 local elections. [31713/03]

The boundary of Mullingar town was altered for electoral purposes only under the Local Government Act 1994 and the Local Government (Boundaries) (Town Elections) Regulations 1994. The area so altered had effect for the purposes of local elections held in 1994 and 1999 and will also be the relevant area for the purposes of the 2004 local elections. A copy of the map showing the boundary as altered for electoral purposes is available for inspection at the corporate affairs offices of Westmeath County Council, Millennium House, Church Avenue, Mullingar.
